Five years after “Avengers: Endgame” and the departure of Robert Downey Jr. from the series of films in which he played Iron Man, the actor will return to the studio to give life to the villain Doctor Doom. The announcement took place on Saturday, July 27th, at the Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Downey Jr. is expected to return to the MCU films in “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”, scheduled for release in 2026 and 2027, respectively. Doctor Doom will be the antagonist of the group of heroes.
Although this news is old, I think it is very important to post it on my forum because of its importance for fans of this cinematographic universe.
